Subject: RE: A lot of unknowns

Cleveland, MS. Own small farm near Booneville, MS

At McDonalds in Fiji if you order a Big Mac it will be lamb instead of beef. In those islands beef is a rare thing and is expensive. Most of their meat is sheep and pork, and some of that is not very tasty. It is fairly common to see a pig tied to a tree by one of its hind legs. Milk goats are also fairly common. Very few cows in the islands. A lot of what they eat is imported from Australia and New Zealand. They also eat lots of chicken. A Fijian once told me that when a Fijian is finished with a chicken bone there will be nothing left by teeth marks.
