You don’t really have to grind corn, you may gain some efficiency but it’s going to take a long time to pay off equipment with ten head. You probably want soymeal or ddgs for protein, feed a set amount with a bucket, let them eat it and come back thru with the corn. Free choice grass hay, straw, or corn stalks. Make sure they clean up their corn every day, so they’re hungry enough to chew on the bale some. Honestly it’s probably better to have whole corn with a small number as it will help prevent acidosis. Add some mineral to the ddgs or soybean meal.
