Central, IA | If you already have a freewave radio for your rover. I would get a 6500 with a 900mhz relay. It has the same freewave radio and could also steer a tractor with a steer command when not tiling. They're really easy to setup. When in base mode it turns on a wifi hotspot and you can log in to the base from your phone. Once configured and surveyed in, it will usually start broadcasting on its own when powered back up in the same spot.
I had a 2500/2500B that I only used for tiling, but when the 6500's came out, I sold it and bought 6500's so I could steer tractors and then tile with the same receivers. | |
