Gramps always shot, gutted and skinned beef himself, (to save a few bucks) line the trunk with feed sacks and through the carcass in this trunk. Seen that more than once as a young child.
Of course that was the neighbors cattle. Lol. Didn't most big ranches out west start with a little brand modifications. Those cars were huge. Could fit nine people comfortably. No seat belt laws back then either.
My family was into big Buicks. Some had the caddies. Grandpa's favorite cars were his Hudson hornets. They could really take the curves.
