East Central Nebraska | I've planted beans after 1st cutting hay many times. Neighbor always told me to plant beans instead of corn the 1st year is mainly why I do beans. I guess I don't know why and I only have about 10 acres of hay so not much. Maybe a here thing. But My experience, takes good shot of roundup a couple times. I used 48 oz rate for this case. I'd think your approach is fine. I'd up the rate with Roundup. Plan on a post too and I'd think you'd get pretty good control. | |
