M=Measurements only, like positions.
B= Base corrections + Measurements. I'm not sure what the X at the end would be for.
Typically if it can be an RTK rover it can be a base also. I've usually seen the M instead of B on WAAS/TerraStar models, although there is still a different letter that describes the accuracy level of the model.
