SE ND | There is going to be huge prevent plant acres in places. We put in corn, but I wished I hadn't. Terrible soil conditions and we need bushels at these prices to make a profit. The conditions we are planting in simply do not allow for that to occur. Talked with my friend who is a consultant and he said likely 40% PP SE of Valley City and likely much higher North of interstate. In our area (S and W of Jamestown) it is going to be 70% plus. Alot of businesses are saying they are getting pretty worried. Especially, the ones that service ag locally. Wishing everyone luck out there.
