Cedar Rapids, Iowa | The minimum I'd go with on any laptop today is an i3 processor, 8GB of RAM, and a 500 GB SSD.
For intense video stuff, maybe jump up to an i5 or even i7 processor, possibly to 16GB of RAM, or maybe a larger SSD. It's possible that video editing software can get a performance boost from a nice graphics card, but I don't know about that.
The memory and hard drive can always be upgraded down the road. The processor isn't easy to upgrade.
The big decision is what size screen to get. | |
