SE MN | I don't think this will work exactly like you want, but I will give you an idea.
I used to use IFTTT for logging my snow removal hours for my brother-in-law. I would have a "Do-Button" on my home screen and everytime I would push it, it would clock me in and then at the end of the day it would clock me out. It would do all this automatically in a spreadsheet on Google Sheets. It would record the start and end time and then put the total in a different column. I would then go into the same sheet and add my fuel expense in a column to the side.
