(Culligan) I was a little concerned the "taste" wouldn't be there, but I can only tell a small difference after the iron filter. Clothes don't turn yellow, the fixtures won't turn funny colors, etc. $1800 for the filter installed, $900 for the softener. Worth every penny after the first shower!

Ed, do you happen to know your iron level in the water? Mine tested 3.060 mg/L which is a little high. Just curious what it is across the country. Well is 220 feet deep.
