What we are seeing is historic.. Look I don't care if you believe me.. This is what I BELIEVE.. because I'm seeing it.. first hand. Due to the Ethanol boom.. we increased Corn acres out here on the fringe.. now that it's popped.. we're going to see acres go BACK to what they came from.
More Alfalfa, Sorghum and feed.
it is what it is. If we had $4 Corn.. I would agree with you.. but we do not.. the market will respond unless you believe..

We're NOT going to go pay $200 a bag for Corn seed to plant on 4.5 million dryland corn acres in this state to grow 30 to 70 bu dryland corn.. at $3.00.
It FLAT OUT doesn't pencil.. and those of us who do it.. know it. That's why your gonna see a third, 40% maybe half of the acres intended to be Dryland Corn.. stop.
