Strasburg North Dakota | I purchased one this past winter. It's a pretty handy tractor. The loader was not on it when I purchased it. I had it laying around so decided to put it on. They were only made late 80 and 81. IH quit making the 686 and hydro 86 since they were the only 2 tractors IH was still making on the small platform. The 786 then replaced the 686. It is the only 86 series other than the 686 that came from the factory without any type of ROPS since it was under a certain horsepower
