coast of Maine | Its amazing and simple,I used to love the crisps on edges of grilled cheese sandwiches. So you can buy shaved cheese blend or shave and cheese you want or slice really thin ,maybe 1/4 cup.Pan( I use several scan pans as my usual cooking tool ) should be about temp for frying bacon, chuck in there as a scattered layer about 4 inch around,it will melt rapidly,as it starts to bubble loosen edges with a sharp spatula, then when loosened flip it ,takes just a few on other side, you can just stir it i suppose but i like the chew as no bread. It then gets put on your plate,it can cool and its still fine and chewy, usually if I am not having sausage or other meat with eggs I will make this,John B had me wanting chaffels but Cleaning the waffle rigging was against my kitchen etiquette. | |
