I was thinking same thing but didn’t want to say it.

Map is under 325 here at river. What’s 10-34 $450?

If use value 40 cents for N which is high. Map P is costing 22.5 cents. $450 10-34 using same value for N puts P is 55 cents. 1034 would have to be 230$ psi o be even with MAP.

So put that math into something more relatable 230 bushel corn removes 80lb P2O5 that would cost you $18 with map and $44 with 10-34.

Glad you did the math =--I was about to start doing the figures AND was sure 10-34-0 would be expensive per unit of P--easy to use BUT expensive
Didn't answer the question BUT pretty important information IMO
Bet you can't buy 10-34-0 for $450 --I haven't priced any for a couple years but always pricey per unit of P

Just saying Dan

To add just because you can afford it don't mean you should
To answer the question bet you would not hurt the germination or root prune with 50 gal an acre of 10-34-0 thats only 60 lbs of N the 200 lbs. of phosphate should not hurt anything
IF you want to start throwing sulfur in --have to recalculate
