One thing they cant predict is mother nature. Early frost a couple weeks off extreme heat can cut half off your yield. What looks good today in two weeks can be disastorus. I cant see what these reports are good for either. Most years they have been negative to the farmer an to top it all off not accurate. I remember 1993 like it was yesterday one off our poorer crop years. They said bumper yields but it wasnt out there. Looks like to me this is all to the benefit off others not the farmer.
