My guess is that the $20 per acre that Paul is referring to would be the $5 per acre per year reduction in Direct Payment multiplied by the 4 year length of the ACRE program = $20.
I think along similar lines. In order for me to jump into this program, I want to see that there is a good chance I will recoup my approximate $20 per acre (4 year) cost within the first year. Banking on a payment in the following 3 years is just a little too risky for me. Of course, that will change for each individual based on his/her level of risk tolerance.
I am going to watch your recorded webinar tonight. I hope to pick up some good information.
