Isn't Pioneer providing complete research and production?

I'm in a seed production area (soy) and I can say with 100% certainty that local farmers are producing beans that will be processed by Pioneer and sold in the branded bag by seed comany XYZ.

These are openly called distrribution agreements and I'm sure with the legal press put on by Dow and Monsanto that that is all involved. IE, no way in hell can Pioneer provide Monsanto's patented traits (RR) to another company via direct genetic access (converted inbreds or converted germplasm).
