Subject: Re: What makes a good hitch pin?

I made a pin out of one several years ago. I needed a longer pin and figured that would be a good pin. Wrong, I was only pulling a 4 ton spreader top dressing wheat. It bent on the first spreader full. I guess after thinking about it I know I have had a couple of them get bent as a cylinder so I should have known better.
