IL
For right now, my main objective is quicker canopy for weed control. I have seen very few products hold TWH in check consistantly in beans, which is a huge reason for narrow rows in my area.. The 15" rows will have an advantage some times for yields as well, but this yr was the first time I really compared full tillage ( ok, disking part of a field) to spring strips. The stripped area was still so much smoother, was prepped faster, easier to plant. One field I only fall stripped, and those beans do not have the growth that all the spring tilled fields have. With the wet spring, the ground was sealed tight and need opened to get air in.

One whole field I had to work, I will have to dig out the row cultivator as I am just plain tired of spraying and buying RU. I already did a post pass of RU, and tiny weeds are popping thru again on the small beans. Even did some respray on bigger beans to clean up, today.
