John Deere load control shafts-they are basically a torsion bar, not real hard, but good steel. a 3020 is about 1" dia., they go up to about 1.5" on a 4630-4640. You would think a 5020 would be a big 'un, but they use 2 4020 shafts...About 2 ft. long, so you might get 3 pins out of one shaft? Just weld a head on one end, big washer or the like. I have about 10 of them, they only wear in 2 spots, so 90% of it is good dia. wise...
