I would just buy a good brand of the recommeded oil grade. My Hondas call for a 10W-40. I have used Castroll in the past but I am using MFA currently. I do mostly buy my filters from Honda. I think they are about $5. I don't remember what my last oil cost but I am thinking less than $10 gal. So 2 gts would be $5.
