west TN | That was my question posted earlier. We did borrow John Deere's puller. Offered to buy one, but they said they no longer sell them. It only took one afternoon. Only had one unit that gave us trouble, and it was a one we had swapped out with the dealer last year when we had a gear box go down in the middle of harvest.
I heated that one pretty good with a Rosebud, then cooled them with a water hose and they came right on off.
We've been waiting on the Calmers. Just got the call yesterday that they were ready to ship. Should have it ready to go by middle of next week. Early corn is at dent. | |
