Dallas Center IA 515-720-2463 | It's not easy!!!
First off forget about reusing the bolts and nuts, they are cheap.
Turn the nut almost all the way off, then put a BIG punch in the nut hole and a BIG hammer [3# or +].
Drive the nut against the cast. Sure would be nice if the nuts are on the outside, most Deeres are.
Remove the nut. Again with that 3#+ hammer, drive the bolt in some more.
Back to the punch. Drive the bolt on out.
Should have meantioned to buy some stock in a Panther Pee company, then buy and use a whole lot of it.
If you get tired, spray some Panther Pee, looks like you are working.
The only way to make the wheels easy to work is do it every year or so, even if you do not need to move anything.
The Deeres from the models 50, 60 and 70 of about 1952 up until a few years ago have a real easy way of moving wheels around.
But let them sit a few years and it is a real bear.
On my 4630 I felt the rim bolts was a whole lot harder job than moving the casting on the axle.
