Washington, Kansas & Lincoln, Nebraska | every red rotor combine was sold new with a spring compressor tool. Lots of these didn't get traded in at trade-in time, or if they did the dealer threw them in a pile somewhere and forgot to provide them for second owners. Perhaps your dealer has one laying around that he'd loan or sell. That should be all you need. The original bolts supplied with the tool were long enough to uncage the spring after you took the nut off. The threaded pilot bores are there, in the back half of the rotor driven pulley, if you get enough of the dirt off.
