Wi | Shop is easy with these three items from Ubiquiti. Ubiquiti stuff is a great value and easy to setup from UNMS app.
UAP-AC-M. This will be shop wireless access point for your clients to connect to(phone, computer, etc) provided you only need wireless access, not wired.
Loco5AC Use the PoE injector that comes with UAP-AC-M to power this. Connect PoE port to the radio. Connect the LAN port of injector to a free LAN port on router in house. Mount this radio outside facing the shop. In UNMS app, setup as PtP access point. Setup an SSID (Shop Bridge for example) and a password for it. Remember these.
NS-5AC This comes with a PoE injector. Connect PoE port to the radio. Leave LAN port empty. Mount this outside facing the house. In UNMS app set this up as PtP station and scan for the SSID earlier. Select that SSID, enter password and connect. Be patient, it takes a bit for it to show a connection. With UNMS open you can adjust the position of the antenna to adjust the gain to desirable levels. One last step is to enable PoE pass through.
Finally, run a cable from the PoE pass through port on the shop radio to the port on the UAP-AC-M mounted inside. You should be set.
Note 1: The radios have a weak built in Wi-Fi signal that you connect to in order to configure via UNMS. This signal is active for 15 minutes after a power cycle.
Note 2: It's helpful to set a static IP for the radios so you can access them from a web browser later. If you are uncertain about how to do this you can simply power cycle them and reconnect via interval management radio if you ever need.
Note 3: I would strongly advise against ethernet cable. It will cost more than the above items, a 300' distance is going to likely exceed the 328' maximum and if nothing else it's going to be a huge lightning magnet waiting to fry your gear on both ends. If you want to bury something between the buildings use fiber, otherwise go wireless.
