I always thought so too but it was perfect last night. It drew the real farm tractors against the ones just for pulling. The hot ones still did a little better but they had to work for it.

Must have been 40 hook and took almost two hours to run the class.

Everyone watching knew someone pulling, often their neighbor and that made it a better pull.

One neighbor built a 1070 for the class and it did really well.

Another local mechanic pulled a rusty old 1370 and it led for a long time.

It was just plain good fun, great crowd, felt like the old fairs.

Last year was miserable when everyone found out they lost their job at Airborne. Killed the big corn festival too.

Amazing recovery in one year.
