Don't forget they have to scratch them off while everyone else waits in line.
Cousins let me use their tandem during harvest on the days they aren't using it.
Cousin brought it over and left it, fuel tank was very low (not his fault, won't tell the story).
Elevator closes at 7:00 P.M., home town didn't have a diesel pump at that time, had to drive 12 miles to neighboring town.
Cashier has to turn on pump if over a certain amount, have to leave credit card inside while you pump. Had to wait in line for lottery ticket buyers, didn't want to leave debit card inside so I paid $80 cash.
Cashier said the pump would turn off at the correct amount but it didn't, something like 11 cents over amount, no pocket change had to break $1.
Should have just left, but back inside to wait in line again. Nothing to eat all day, still had to fill truck and wagons for next day. Still a little PO'ed. |
