SC Wisconsin | I feed whole shell corn and sirloin builder pellets from vitaplus, i believe curious does as well. I try to keep them bedded well, but other than that they get no roughage. The grower pellet is a 30% protein. I feed that in the mix until 550ish pounds, then switch to the finisher pellet @ 36% protein. The finisher pellet has tylan in it as well as rumensin. The finisher pellet is higher in protein but you mix less in as a percentage of the ration. When they get to that size we are less concerned about protein in the diet as we are about net energy, thats what it takes to get them to fill their frames and finish | |
