I have worked for three different seed companies over the past 35 years and we always gave/give out the exact germination of a seed lot if the grower called the office and asked. We also give out the cold germ if requested. Unfortunately the tag germ variance is +/- 7%. The germ listed on the tag is a small sample of a seed lot, i.e. 400 seeds from 5,000 units.
