A Thyroid issue can also cause excessive sweating. That's where I am, talked to my dermatologist about a treatment for hyperhydrosis. She wouldn't proceed without a blood test checking my thyroid. Turns out I had a thyroid issue, I'm now on a medication, still sweat, but not nearly as much. The true verdict will be this summer though.
