I have a set that we paid out the Wazoo for, & the kids did actually get some good out of them for a couple years, until we got the first computer. I knew as soon as I saw that Encarta disk, the encyclopedias were history...
They are boxed up out in the storage shed, can't bring myself to throw them away, remembering the payments we made on the damned things.
