Thing about woven wire is it is near impossible to keep the grass, weeds, grape vines, etc out of it unless you spray or have goats or sheep. If you spray though then you've got a bare strip. For a rural boundary fence, barb wire with the bottom wire up 12-14" makes a good fence.  You can always add a smooth hot wire on the inside on standoffs if you get some livestock in the future.
