north west arkansas | My response wasn't to him and no doubt what he is doing is the best and I'd love to get there and am trying to. The situation I described just seems to work best for me currently. I also have a pasture full of purebred charolais cows weighing that 1,500-1,600 and because of being culled hard for 50 years that herd is one of my most fertile. Big problem I've had with them is adjusting the genetics to fit my groceries compared to the previous owners big silage piles of corn and alfalfa hay.
