Galena IL | You can decide it’s the creek or you can look for the problem. I’m a long way away but I heard something about a drought? What was the sperm count of the bulls? What did the water test say? Did you test both the creek end the water tank? Trace minerals available? Blood test a couple open ones looking for definitely? What’s the body score? Up here there is a couple weeds that cows can eat that can cause abortion. Blaming the up stream guys may make you feel good, finding the real problem will make you money.... Dennis
PS every one of my pastures have either a river or a creek coming in from higher ground. Some 400 ft some 40 miles. I think I get a little “ extra stuff “ with them but no real problems | |
