| Part of the reason for the drop in the market being cited is the lack of follow-thru by the administration to the supposed trade agreement and then trump's comments this morning.
I suspect that trump didn't want this trade agreement (judging from his posture during the dinner), he 's having second thoughts and is trying to spook the Chinese into scuttling the deal.
I'm pretty sure that trump went along with this deal because he was under tremendous duress by the business community. I was actually surprised when he did because the day before he indicated that he didn't know if he wanted to. That's not how you act if you think you've got a good deal.
If the Chinese are smart they'll keep quiet and make some gesture like buy some soybeans. | |
