Coup I sure appreciate everything you share. Any chance you could share how you come up with $0.20/bu cost for replacing P &K ? I don't think I could replace the fertilizer for a 250 bushel corn crop with $50.

Removal rate chart that have says. 38 lbs P per bu removal and. 3 lbs K per bu of corn. There is current research that shows removal rates of P and K about 75% of old standards .

I used the new removal rates of .285 lbs P per Bu and .225 lbs per Bu K.

Used $450 ton price for Triple Super and $300 to price for Potash

Takes about. 62 lbs Triple Super = .285 lbs and about.37 lbs Potash = .225 lbs K

.62 lbs Super @ $450 ton= $.,1395 bu
.37lbs Potash @ $300 ton= $.055 bu
Total of $.1945 per bu.

If use old standard removal rate for P and K @ .38 and.3 lbs per bu cost would be about 35 % more or $.27 bu for removal, which would make the numbers look worse for the higher priced seed
