If that is true, why hasn't every manufacturer raised their engine operating coolant max temperature, slowed down their fans, and sent the results to the market?
There is no free lunch in thermodynamics. Cooling systems run "too hot" because something is wrong, not because something is "better".
If your theory were true, it'd be common knowledge, common practice, and wouldn't have gotten my attention.
More heat = more heat, not more power.
Manufacturers gotta do their best to idiotproof everything, probably the main reason they are not trying to get that last bit of efficiency.
