I'd agree with original Paul, an unexpected downside is that any outstanding maintenance like rusty tin roof, blown out skylight or blocked drain stands out like a sore thumb!
Weedy areas and such seem bigger and worse than you thought.

Finding cattle gone into hiding to calve or due to being unwell - without walking miles or disturbing then too much -  is a realistic plus point, but in practice you can't fly if weather conditions are unsuitable, or your battery needs charge so doesn't always work out.
