Ethridge, TN | This is what I'd suggest on that era of tractor running this type of a system. You are probably starving the front pump, as when you got into high needs of flow, the rear pump can have a hard time keeping up with the requirements the front pump can put on it. There is a kit, which will change out the canister on your filter, which will have a port in it to plumb a hose into the filter housing. Run the return from the vac fan to this line, and your problem will more than likely go away.
First JD air seeder I ran, we put on a 8630, and I had to plumb the fan return this way, to keep from overheating the oil in that tractor. | |
