John, even worse than the milk price......is the uncertainty of whether you will have a market that will buy your milk. Small producers are getting squeezed out......and even some much larger independent producers have been given deadlines to find another buyer for their milk. Investing in one use assets is not of interest currently.......especially when our parlor is already 43 years old !
