It's good to know that SMS Advanced will do that.
I did something similar for a variable rate N application map for wheat this year, normalizing six years of yield data and averaging to try and detect low, medium, and high yielding zones. However, I used ArcMap from ESRI, which is not all intuitive or easy to teach someone.
