Most likely there is nobody more qualified to answer that question than yourself. You've been a couple for the past 15 years.  At the same time, our 48th is coming up next month and over the years I have also bought jewelry and it was money wasted. All jewelry is quickly stashed away and occasionally shown and or given to the grandkids. I did buy her some flowers for our 20th and she started crying. I decided that I wouldn't do than any more but broke down and bought her some more on her 80th birthday. She laughed and said "you didn't have to do that" but she did keep them until there was absolutely no life left in them. We do take a couple trips every year
