1. Cash,,,,,, we have a joint accounts so essentially it’s already 1/2 hers anyway.
2. Anything related to a kitchen.
3. Gift certificates.
4. Don’t buy a big tickets item and then afterwards telling her well this should take care of your upcoming Birthday, Mother’s Day, Christmas and Anniversary gifts for the year. Prime example we recently bought a convertible to leave at our southern winter home year around. My mistake was I should’ve mentioned it BEFORE we bought it and then she might’ve bought that spill :-).
5. Don’t do what I say once in a while like “ darn you have a birthday coming up don’t you, what do you want?” That goes over like a rock in water.
I really have no good suggestions, as you can tell I really don’t like buying presents even though I love her to pieces:-).
