just a tish NE of central ND
I believe interstate ? or JD? calls those 6 volters a 5D battery.
The biggest thing for me is it always started.... as I never really use the tractor in anything less than 40 degrees untill as of lateley(hay grinder tractor now) so I never gave it a thought to change it.Im going to look into changeing something..... due to cold temperature starting that it needs to do now day.
If I go to using two 12 volt 1000 cca batteries in a parrell, Couldnt I not have 12 volts and 2000 available cca?
So, with 2 six volters(cca) in a series wouldnt it only be putting out 12 volts and 1000 cca total at the starter posts?(less the line loss)
So, using one 12 volter near the starter and eliminateing the cable length gives jsut as much cca as the two six volters combined and eliminates the long line loss.
