Put set of 8 rows on 4 yrs ago, chops everything into 2 to 3" pcs but leaves a 24" stalk post standing, but varies with the corn as some stalks more brittle & it chops them down to 6" high off ground & other BT corn you have this 24" stalk standing. To be better needs the swinging blades to cut down post but there its buying a more expensive corn head. I like it -a poor farmers chopping corn head. Have on a 843 but its a 8r22.
