South Dakota | No those are totally separate, your analogy falls short. Milk ads are targeting milk consumers for the purpose of selling milk. If they advertise to adults about meals for vegetarians, that's fine, they're selling a product to a consumer. If the purpose is to expose children to an alternative lifestyle that they wouldn't otherwise have exposure to, that's where I've got a problem. Teaching kids about the benefits of being a vegetarian via a kids show is not their place. If it's a political issue, kid's and family programming needs to stay away from it, let parents teach their kids about those things. | |
