NW IA | Have not had it done but 10 years ago I suffered a severe injury to my shoulder that the Dr. believed would result in my joint locking up with arthritis.
At that time he said a reverse replacement was likely in my near future, but he would not do one unless I was willing to swear off livestock. I feed a few cattle and he said a reverse replacement means no "do-overs" if it is damaged, and he had seen livestock related injuries to farmers replacement shoulders that had ended badly.
For that reason he recommended waiting as long as possible before resorting to that option. I don't know how old you are, but I am 60 and have so far escaped the need for surgery.
After ten years there may well be far better technology applicable to this procedure.
