North Western Alberta | Man Rich do I hear ya there. My biggest challenge, is not being an Ogre for them using thier technology so much. I frikkin HATE the social ramifications of the cell phones and Ipods. When Im around, the cells get put away. No texting around adults or nieghbours, etc. How many kids do you see now, just walking down the street, not even looking up cause they are so busy texting. THere is alot of good, but I am convinced, we are headed down a street that will have to be backed back up a bit. Not sure what that exactly entails, but socially, alot of kids are a bit challenged right now. I text a fair bit too, but if someone is talking to me, it stays in its holster. And, driving, it stays turned off. Just too tempting, even for me to reply to messages. I swear they engineer these things to pull you in... ha ha! | |
