Set a yearly budget and stick to it.
Spend it on line first. If the recommendation says you need 5 tons but your budget allows for 3 so be it. This sounds like a Farm that may be lost due to someone else bidding more eventually. So don’t spend all your profits plus some on building it up unless the landlord is going to be reasonable
