I would disagree with the solar flares comment, there is a section on my dealership app that shows solar activity and there has been nothing significant in the time frame that they had mentioned. 

You said SF3 so I am assuming you are using an SF6000 receiver? If so, it is highly possible that you are getting interference from your 2-way radio leaking signal.
